Boundaries Can Be Fun Too

Not every boundary has to be serious - some lead straight to fun.

I used to think boundaries were all about saying “no.”
No to chaos. No to pain. No to people who drained me.
But lately, I’ve realised that boundaries can also be a “yes.”
A yes to joy.
A yes to silliness.
A yes to freedom.
For me, that’s looked like salsa classes where I trip over my own feet & laugh anyway. It’s a motorcycle refresher that makes me feel both nervous & alive at the same time. Even puppy yoga for the licks & love. It’s choosing to dance, explore & play instead of always carrying the weight of responsibility.
Boundaries aren’t just lines in the sand to keep harm out, sometimes they are invitations to step into fun, to reclaim the parts of ourselves that were hidden under heaviness.
So I’m saying yes to lightness. Yes to play. Yes to the fun that feels like freedom.
What about you? What fun are you saying yes to?
